Supervisor Smith called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.

Motion by Quakenbush, supported by Huber, to the approve minutes of April 2 2018.
Motion carried.
TREASURER'S REPORT
Motion by Ash, supported by Huber, to approve the treasurer’s report of May 7, 2018 balance of $1,603,818.93 and overall balance of $2,159,819.57.
Roll call vote—Yes: Smith, Huber, Quakenbush, Ash, Gill; No: none.
Motion unanimously carried.
PUBLIC COMMENT
Public comment was held.
UNFINISHED BUSINESS
VALLEY RD
ZA Bebee gave the board the plans for the proposed roadway for Valley Rd. There are underground utilities on one side so the road can only be 30 ft. wide. Two local contractors are submitting a price. A public notice will be published for a public hearing next month.
Motion by Huber, supported by Quakenbush, to approve the cross section as shown for Valley Rd and Bebee to get pricing and publish per MCL41721.

Motion unanimously carried.
CEMETERY AND SNOWPLOWING CONTRACTS
Bids were received from Kevin’s Auto Repair and Your Way Lawncare for the snowplowing and Grim Enterprises and Your Way Lawncare for the cemetery.
Motion by Ash, supported by Quakenbush, to approve Grim Enterprises for the cemetery mow/maintenance/sexton for the 2018-2019 fiscal year.
Roll call vote—Yes: Gill, Ash, Huber, Quakenbush; No: Smith.
Motion carried.
Motion by Huber, supported by Quakenbush, to approve the snowplowing contract with Your Way Lawncare for the 2018-2019 fiscal year.

NEW BUSINESS
ZONING ADMINISTRATOR TIM BEBEE
ZA Bebee gave the board letters that the attorney will send to owners of two properties: 544 S. Genuine and 2707 Rosemary for blight violations.
Motion by Ash, supported by Gill, to go forth with the proposed action for 544 S Genuine and 2707 Rosemary.
Motion unanimously carried.
ZBA CHAIR – BRIAN SMITH
Smith was absent. Will table until next month.
GRAVEL CONTRACTS
Motion by Ash, supported by Quakenbush, to approve the following gravel contracts: Chippewa from Broomfield to Deerfield $17,788.21, Loomis from Deerfield to Millbrook $8894.10, Loomis from Broomfield to Deerfield $8894.10.
