CHIPPEWA TOWNSHIP PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING
October 09, 2017 Minutes
Call to Order 7:00 pm
Present: Bob Wetherbee, Pat Doyle, Susan Gates (Chair), Monica Richer, Rod Reid, Bill Miller .
Absent: Michelle Quakenbush.
Pledge of Allegiance.
Unanimous approval of the September 11, 2017 minutes.
Correspondence:
ZA commented he has gotten letters of complaints about the sportsmans' club. Attorney Bloem is working on an additional letter to this club as they are in violation.
Audience Participation:
Ron (Bud) Wilber, 29 S County Line Rd, Mt Pleasant, MI. Mr. Wilber is one of the original founding members (47 yrs ago) of the Black Creek Sportsmans' Club. He indicated that the activities of today are not of the original nature of this club. Mr. Wilber commented that he and the original members of this club are doing everything they can to regain control, including court.
Audience participation closed.
Old Business:
ZA will keep us posted on the progress of the maps.
Nothing to report on Mr. Smiley's ditch.
New Business:
Lengthy discussion on developing the ordinance for private roads. ZA will develop ordinance and distribute for the board to review.
Motion to adjourn 9:00 pm made by Doyle, second by Richer. All in favor. Motion carried.
Next meeting November 13, 2017, at 7:00 pm.
