APM Mosquito Control has been contracted by Chippewa (and Wise) Township to provide an integrated mosquito abatement program for the 2016 mosquito season. This will consist of treatment of standing water in all potential mosquito larvae breeding sites and truck fogging of city streets to control adult mosquito populations. Ground treatment of standing water will begin the third week of April 2016. Vectobac G (Bti, 2%Bacillus thuringiensis, var. israilensis) will be used for larviciding. Truck ULV fogging will begin the week prior to Memorial Day if adult mosquito activity is present, weather permitting. Biomist 4+4 (4% permethrin, 4% technical piperonyl butoxide) will be used for adulticiding. View product labels and Safety Data Sheets at www.advancedmosquito.com.
