REGULAR MEETING OF THE CHIPPEWA TOWNSHIP BOARD
April 6, 2015
Supervisor Smith called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.

PREVIOUS MINUTES
Motion by Huber, supported by Quakenbush, to approve regular minutes and budget meeting minutes of March 2, 2015.
Motion carried.
TREASURER’S REPORT
Motion by Ash, supported by Huber, to approve the treasurer’s report of April 6, 2015, balance of $2,562,391.41 and overall balance of $2,019,445.24.

NEW BUSINESS
ZONING ADMINISTRATOR TIM BEBEE
Bebee stated he has the billboard maps and will have the township attorney look them over.
Crescent Consulting sent the Master Plan maps today for review by the Planning Commission. The text is complete and public input will be heard at the next meeting.
CRC PRESENTATION
No one was in attendance from the CRC.
2014-2015 BUDGET AMENDMENTS
Motion by Ash, supported by Gill, to approve the following 2014-2015 budget amendments:
- Township board trustee per diem $25.00,
- Assessor postage $715.00,
- Attorney $1050.00,
- Township offices operating supplies $950.00,
- Township offices utilities $3300.00,
- Verizon $350.00,
- Streetlights township $200.00,
- Streetlights Links $60.00,
- Planning Commission contracted services $200.00,
- Board of Appeals per diem $325.00,
- Workers Compensation $300.00 and
- Social Security $300.00.

ELECTION WORKERS
Motion by Ash, supported by Quakenbush, to hire two chairpersons at $15.00 per hour and ten election inspectors at $10.00 per hour for the May 5, 2015 election. The State will be reimbursing the township.
