Supervisor Smith called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.

Motion by Huber, supported by Quakenbush, to approve minutes of Nov. 2, 2020.
Motion carried.
TREASURER'S REPORT
Motion by Ash, supported by Quakenbush, to approve the treasurer’s report of Dec. 7, 2020 balance of $1,891,544.37 and overall balance of $2,440,908.92.
Roll call vote—Yes: Huber, Quakenbush, Ash, Smith, VanderKolk; No: None.
Motion unanimously carried.

NEW BUSINESS
ZONING ADMINSTRATOR – TIM BEBEE
ZA Bebee gave his report. He has been working with the township attorney regarding a resident starting a trailer park on Wing Rd. All trailers are supposed to be removed by the end of the year.
2021 MEETING CALENDAR
Motion by Ash, supported by VanderKolk, to approve the 2021 meeting calendar.
Motion carried.
The Planning Commission has not been meeting due to State Covid restrictions. They had been working on the ordinances.
Motion by Ash, supported by Huber, for the Planning Commission to resume meetings in January in person, if State restrictions allow, or by Zoom.
Motion carried.
TOWNSHIP SHARE OF FIRE DEPT. BUDGET AND LABOR COSTS
Motion by Ash, supported by Quakenbush, to approve Chippewa Township’s share of Shepherd Tri-Twp Fire Department labor costs of $30,593.65 and budget share of $68, 845.44.
Roll call vote—Yes: VanderKolk, Smith, Ash, Huber, Quakenbush; No: None.
Motion unanimously carried.
PC, ZBA AND BOARD OF REVIEW EXPIRING TERMS
Motion by Ash, supported by Huber, to re-appoint Michelle Quakenbush, Susan Gates and Monica Richer to three-year terms on the Planning Commission.
Motion carried.
Motion by Quakenbush, supported by Ash, to re-appoint Gail Huber to a three-year term, Brian Smith to a two-year term and Gayla Birch, alternate, to a one-year term on the Zoning Board of Appeals.
Motion carried.
Motion by Quakenbush, supported by Huber, to re-appoint Robert Ervin and Linda Reid to two-year terms on the Board of Review.
Motion carried.
BANK SIGNATURES
Motion by Ash, supported by Quakenbush, for Isabella Bank to add new treasurer, Kathy VanderKolk, as a signator at Isabella Bank and give her permission to access online banking and to update contact information.
Roll call vote—Yes: Smith, Quakenbush, Huber, Ash, VanderKolk; No: None.
Motion unanimously carried.
Motion by Ash, supported by Quakenbush, to add new treasurer, Kathy VanderKolk, to the PNC bank account and give her permission to online access to check balance. Jan Gill is now deputy treasurer and will be left on the PNC account.
Roll call vote—Yes: Quakenbush, Huber, VanderKolk, Smith, Ash; No: None.

Motion by Huber, supported by Quakenbush, to add new treasurer, Kathy VanderKolk, to the Fifth Third bank account and give her permission to online access to check balance. Jan Gill is now deputy treasurer and will be left on the Fifth Third account.

Ash stated two budget items need amended on 2020-2021 budget.
Motion by Ash, supported by VanderKolk, to amend: Election postage $175.00 and cemetery contracted services $700.00.

Motion unanimously carried.
VanderKolk stated she would like to see next year’s budget include repair of holes in the parking lot. Smith will get some estimates.
