CHIPPEWA TOWNSHIP PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING
June 12, 2023 Minutes
Call to Order 7:00 pm
Present: Bob Wetherbee, Matt Flegel, Dave Clark, Susan Gates (Chair), Monica Richer, Rod Reid, Brian Schantz and ZA Bebee.
Pledge of Allegiance.
Minutes Approval of May 08, 2023; motion by Flegel, second by Clark. All in favor. Motion carried.
Correspondence:
None.
Audience Participation:
Jason Pyles, 11523 N Lake Side Trail, Shepherd, Michigan, is requesting the board change the Lake Residential Ordinance from five (5) acres per residence to one (1) acre per residence. Mr Pyles has a parcel he would like to split into one (1) acre residential lots. ZA will publish for a public hearing at the July 10 meeting.
Old Business:
Lengthy discussion and review of proposed solar ordinance. Public Hearing on solar ordinance at July 10 meeting.

Motion by Flegel, second by Clark, to adjourn. All in favor. Motion carried.
