REGULAR MEETING OF THE CHIPPEWA TOWNSHIP BOARD

Supervisor Smith called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.
Present: Rob Smith, Fran Ash, Kathy VanderKolk, Bob Wetherbee, Gail Huber.
PREVIOUS MINUTES
Motion by VanderKolk, supported by Huber, to approve meeting minutes of April 3, 2023.
Motion carried.
TREASURER'S REPORT
Motion by Ash, supported by Huber, to approve the treasurer’s report of May 1, 2023, balance of $1,846,466.66 and overall balance of $3,316,135.64.
Roll call vote—Yes: Wetherbee, Huber, Smith, VanderKolk, Ash; No: None.
Motion unanimously carried.

ZONING ADMINISTRATOR TIM BEBEE
Bebee gave his report.
There will be a Planning Commission public hearing on May 8th on a proposed zoning change on property on the NW corner of Pickard and Vroman and for a special use for Buck’s Run to add residential units on the golf course grounds.

OTHER
Motion by Ash, supported by VanderKolk, to approve a budget amendment to move $960 from township offices telephone to fire protection telephone.
